In Thy Wisdom I Do Trust

I don't know what I should do.

I've found no sign or a single clue.

My faith has waned and patience too.

But in Thy Wisdom I do trust.

Should I go left? Should I go right?

Should I surrender or must I fight?

My loads of vices block my sight.

But in Thy Wisdom I do trust

How so difficult to live life's pain,

to bare my sins, and burn by shame–

begging forgiveness and falling again.

But in Thy Wisdom I do trust.

Though I'm bored and so afraid,

though I can't sense why I was made,

though all my wrongs I've done and said,

still in Thy Wisdom I do trust.
